The Service

StarLearn is an AI-assisted learning app offering lessons, practice, study progress tracking and personalised study suggestions.

We may adjust, improve or retire individual features without prior notice, though we try not to disrupt the core of your experience.

Your account

Give us accurate registration details, and you are responsible for everything that happens under your account. Keep your sign-in credentials safe and do not lend or transfer your account to anyone else.

If you suspect your account has been taken over or accessed without your permission, contact support@starresearch.cn straight away so we can help you secure it.

Subscriptions and automatic renewal

Paid features are sold as subscriptions. Payment and renewal are handled entirely by Google Play Billing (Android) or Apple App Store In-App Purchase (iOS); we charge nothing separately.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless you turn off renewal at least 24 hours before the current billing period ends. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your device's store account settings.

Refunds

Refund requests must be submitted through the app store you bought from, and that store reviews and decides them under its own policy.

We cannot issue refunds ourselves or file a request on your behalf. Please use the purchase history in Google Play or the App Store to ask for one.

Disclaimer on AI-generated content

Some content in the Service is generated by artificial intelligence. AI-generated content can be inaccurate, incomplete or out of date, and we give no warranty of any kind, express or implied, about it.

AI-generated content is offered for reference and study support only. It is not professional advice and must not replace the judgement of a qualified professional or an authoritative body. Please verify it against authoritative sources and rely on official or authoritative information instead.

Prohibited conduct

When using the Service you must not:

  • break applicable law or infringe anyone else's rights;
  • use automated tools, scrapers or bulk accounts to access, harvest or interfere with the Service improperly;
  • reverse engineer, decompile or crack the Service, or circumvent any technical protection;
  • spread malicious code, or disrupt or damage the operation of the Service;
  • use content generated by the Service to train a competing model, or redistribute it in bulk without authorisation.

Intellectual property

The app software, interface design, trademarks, course content, text, graphics and other materials in the Service belong to Nanjing StarResearch Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd or its licensors.

Without our written permission you may not copy, modify, distribute, rent, sell or otherwise commercially exploit those materials.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we do not promise that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or perfectly suited to your needs.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service.

Changes and termination

We may revise these Terms from time to time. The updated version is published on this page with its effective date, and we will tell you about material changes in the app or by email.

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. If you materially breach these Terms, we may suspend or end your access.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China in respect of their formation, validity, interpretation and performance, and in respect of dispute resolution.

Disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms should first be resolved amicably. Failing that, either party may bring proceedings before the competent people's court at the operator's place of business.
